My name is Jack Moffett. I am an Interaction Designer with over ten years of experience. According to Herb Simon, that makes me an expert, so I must have something worth sharing. I have started this venture as an exercise to spur critical thinking about my chosen profession. I hope that others may find it thought provoking as well.

While the sessions were very good, much of the value gleaned from attending a conference like Interaction ‘09 comes from hallway discussions. I had the pleasure of meeting Calvin Chan, a Vancouver local. I did the favor of hooking him up with the leader of the Vancouver local IxDA group. While chatting, he saw my name tag and asked what DesignAday is. I happened to mention the lack of comments on Tumblr, and he recalled a service called Disqus. I just checked into it this evening, and sure enough, I was able to easily integrate it into my blog.
