Innovation By Design Awards
Fast Company announced the winners of their Innovation By Design Awards last week while I was on another business trip. They had announced 56 finalists prior to that, selected from 1,700 entries. The finalists are all showcased on their Co.Design site in the following categories:
- Student Design
- Transportation
- Industrial Equipment
- Concepts
- Service Design
- Spaces
- 2-D Design
- Consumer Products
- Interactive Design
There was a winner in each category, plus two Business Impact Awards, one each from the Consumer Products and Interactive Design categories. You should definitely take some time to peruse the winners, and I’d recommend reviewing the finalists as well. There’s a lot of inspirational work. I’ll probably write about a couple of them this week.
